Week 19: Blowout Central
By Randy Williams

My friends, the Guru isn't looking forward to this weekend's NFL playoff tilts. Why? There are going to blowouts aplenty, sports lovers.

In fact, the only close game will be San Fran at Atlanta. The Falcons are playing better than Steve Y. & Co. but can Dan Reeves' club triumph against the Niners' mystique? It's just a hunch but I expect San Fran, a 3-point underdog, will get it done in the Georgia Dome.

In the other games, I look for lopsided victories by Denver (-13) against Miami, the New York Jets (-7) hosting Jacksonville and Minnesota (-14) vs Arizona. The Jags have the best chance to pull the upset but only if Mark Brunell's bad ankle is in better shape than it was last week.

Tell the Guru what you think of his selections at AQB's Speak Out board and tune in next week for in-depth predictions of the AFC and NFC title games!!!!!!

Week 18 record:
2-1-1 (Throw it out of bounds, Flutie!)
Season record: 111-101-7 (Assured of finishing above .500.)
Norv T's record: 32-47-1 (Mark my words: He'll return for '99.)
George's NCAA record: Too embarrassing to reveal (Saturday Selections)
