NEW YORK (AQB)--Do you toss and turn while wondering what Fox will include in its 7 1/2 hours Super Bowl XXXIII pregame show? Are you facing the possibility of missing the commissioner's news conference?

As network spokesman Mark Mandel so curtly told ArmchairQB.com over the phone, ABC is not doing anything for the Super Bowl.

CBS

NFL All-Star Comedy Blitz (8 p.m. - 9 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 30) - is an entertainment special - anchored by CBS Sports' Greg Gumbel and Phil Simms - that salutes the 25th anniversary of the NFL's partnership with the United Way.

The special, which was taped the Thursday before the NFL championship games, will feature sketches and standup comedy by comedians, actors and some NFL players. Grammy Award-winning artist Sheryl Crow will headline a musical performance, while Gumbel and Simms will try their luck at sketch comedy.

Some players on the special include Brett Favre of the Green Bay Packers, Jerome Bettis of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Warren Moon of the Seattle Seahawks, Bruce Smith of the Buffalo Bills, Jason Sehorn of the New York Giants, Warren Sapp of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and NFL Hall of Famer and former Los Angeles Rams great Deacon Jones.

Featured celebrities include Fran Drescher ("The Nanny"), Faith Ford ("Maggie Winters"), Al Franken ("Lateline"), comediennes Judy Gold and Kathleen Madigan, Kelsey Grammer ("Frasier"), David Alan Grier, Kevin James ("The King of Queens"), Christine Lahti ("Chicago Hope"), Jon Lovitz ("NewsRadio"), Bill Maher ("Politically Incorrect"), Jay Mohr ("Jerry Maguire," "Saturday Night Live"), Penn & Teller ("Penn & Teller's Sin City Spectacular"), Caroline Rhea ("Sabrina the Teenage Witch," "Hollywood Squares") and Ray Romano ("Everybody Loves Raymond").

Sports Tonight (weekdays 11-11:30p.m., weekends 11p.m.-midnight) - live reports from Miami on CNN's nightly sports show.

NFL Preview (Jan. 31, 10-11 a.m. ET) - The season finale - with Bob Lorenz, James Lofton, Ron Meyer and Peter King - offers the first live preview of Super Bowl XXXIII hours before kickoff.

CNN/SI

CNN/SI's coverage of Super Bowl XXXIII in Miami will begin Sunday, Jan. 24. Vince Cellini, Fred Hickman and Inga Hammond will anchor the network's coverage with analysis by James Lofton, Ron Meyer and special guests.

Coverage will be augmented with inside information from Sports Illustrated senior writer Peter King and CNN/SI NFL expert Pat Kirwan. Also, Jim Huber will provide a daily look at the Super Bowl scene.

CNN/SI's coverage will include:

Nightly Preview Special (Jan. 25-29, 8:30-9 p.m. ET) - the special, hosted by Bob Lorenz, James Lofton and Ron Meyer, will provide news of the day, team and player profiles, and analysis reported by CNN/SI correspondents John Giannone and Josie Karp.

ESPN, through its three television networks and ESPN Radio, will offer nearly 80 programs from the site of Super Bowl XXXIII and a combined total of more than 150 hours of coverage.

SportsCenter (ESPN, 6:30 p.m., 11 p.m., 2 a.m.) - will feature live reports from Miami Sunday, Jan. 24 through Monday, Feb. 1.

Up Close (ESPN, Mon.-Fri., 6 p.m.) - will feature interviews with key Super Bowl personalities.

NFL 2Night (7:30-8 p.m., Mon.-Thu., Jan. 25-28, ESPN2; 7:30-8:30 p.m. Fri., Jan. 29, ESPN) - Live shows chronicling Super Bowl including news and analysis.

ESPNews (24 hours daily) - will features continuous scores, highlights, analysis, interviews, live press conferences and breaking news. ESPNews and ESPN2 will show live news conferences at 8 or 8:30 a.m. daily, with re-airs at 5-6 p.m. Wed.-Fri. and at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday 4:30 p.m.

ESPN.com (weeklong) - will provide coverage prior to, during and after game, including exclusive columns by ESPN experts, team and player comparisons, stats, scouting reports, live chat sessions, photos, audio clips and polls.

ESPN Radio (weeklong) - will cover virtually all Super Bowl-related events.

ESPN Classic - will introduce some of its weeklong Super Bowl-related programming from Miami, including: Superstars of the Super Bowl; 1968 New York Jets: World Champions; 1973 Miami Dolphins: Best Ever; and Super Sunday: A History of the Super Bowl.

ESPN - The Magazine (on stands Jan. 27) - will have a 27-page Super Bowl preview that will include what each Super Bowl winner has in common and ESPN commentators' thoughts on the game.

ESPN, ESPNews - will show the commissioner's news conference at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29.

Edge NFL Matchup (12:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 30, ESPN; 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 30, ESPN2; 8:30 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 31, ESPN) - Stuart Scott, Ron Jaworski and Merril Hoge break down the matchups.

Conversations in the Classroom (7:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 30, ESPN) - will have a Super Bowl-related theme. The show, in which athletes discuss a wide variety of topics with students, will feature Denver linebacker Bill Romanowski visiting Euclid Middle School in Littleton, Col., and Minnesota's John Randle at the Susan B. Anthony Middle School in Minneapolis.

Monday NFL Countdown (8 p.m., Sat., Jan. 30, ESPN) - will take an in-depth look at the big game less than 24-hours before kickoff.

Sports Reporters: Super Bowl Edition (10:30 a.m., Sun., Jan. 25, ESPN) - national journalists will discuss the big game.

Sunday NFL Countdown (11a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, ESPN) - will present pregame news and analysis with live reports from Pro Player Stadium.

ESPN International ESPN Star Sports, a joint venture with ESPN and News Corp., will provide live coverage of the game throughout Asia.

NFL Primetime Super Bowl Special (approx.10:15 p.m., Sun., Jan. 31, ESPN) - will feature reports and interviews from Pro Player Stadium and key highlights. Live coverage will continue throughout the 11 p.m. SportsCenter.

Under the Helmet (Fox, Saturday, Jan. 30, 2:00-3:00 p.m. ET) - is an NFL Films youth-oriented produced special showcasing the on- and off-the-field personalities of the NFL's top players and coaches.

The Compaq College Football All-Star Challenge (Fox, Saturday, Jan. 30, 3:00-4:00 p.m. ET) - will be co-hosted by Thom Brennaman, Tim Green, and Pam Oliver. The nation's top college quarterbacks, receivers, running backs, defensive backs and placekickers will participate in a series of skills challenges. The event also features player interviews, personal profiles, and draft prospectuses.

Road To The Super Bowl (Fox, Saturday, Jan. 30, 5:00-6:00 p.m. ET) - will give viewers insights into Super Bowl XXXIII, the players, coaches and teams.

Hardcore Football (Fox, Sunday, Jan. 31, 11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. ET) - features Bill Maas, Ronnie Lott and Ron Pitts joined by top players from the Broncos and Falcons. The trio will analyze the top plays of each team. Past Super Bowl heroes will appear to share their thoughts on Super Bowl XXXIII and describe their most memorable Super Bowl experiences.

Super Bowl XXXIII On Fox All-Access (Fox, Sunday, Jan. 31, 12:00-12:30 p.m. ET) - Keith Olbermann will give a behind-the-scenes look at Fox Sports' planning and preparation for broadcasting Super Bowl XXXIII.

Outback Steakhouse All-Madden All-Millennium Team (Fox, Sunday, Jan. 31, 12:30-2:00 p.m. ET) - will feature co-hosts John Madden and Pat Summerall. Madden goes back 80 years to find the NFL's best players.

Super Bowl XXXIII On Fox Pregame Show (Fox, Sunday, Jan. 31, 2:00-6:00 p.m. ET) - will be broadcast live from Pro Player Stadium in Miami. Co-hosted by Terry Bradshaw and James Brown with analysts Howie Long and Cris Collinsworth, contributing analysts Matt Millen and Jerry Glanville, and feature reporters Pam Oliver and Suzy Kolber.

Super Bowl XXXIII On Fox ( Fox, Sunday, Jan. 31, 6:00 p.m.-conclusion, kick-off approximately 6:18 p.m. ET) - will feature Pat Summerall calling play-by-play with John Madden providing analysis. Bill Mass and Ron Pitts are game reporters.

The Simpsons (Sunday, Jan. 31, 10:30-11:00 p.m. ET) - will be an all-new episode, "Sunday, Cruddy Sunday." Homer organizes a trip to the Super Bowl, but when the tickets he bought turn out to be bogus, he must find a way to get a bus full of angry sports fans into the game. Featuring News Corp. Chairman and CEO Rupert Murdoch, country music's Dolly Parton, and football's Troy Aikman, Dan Marino, Rosey Grier, Pat Summerall and John Madden.

Fox Sports Net

Fox Sports News (Fox, begins live telecasts from Miami Friday, Jan. 22) - Fox Sports News "Tonight", at 6:30 p.m. ET, and Fox Sports News "Prime Time" at 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., are live on Fox Sports Net regional sports networks on a daily basis. (Fox Sports News "This Morning" begins at 6:00 a.m. ET) Keith Olbermann, Chris Myers, other anchors and reporters are joined by analysts Jackie Slater, Bill Maas, Ronnie Lott and Ron Pitts nightly. Fox Sports analysts John Madden, Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, and Cris Collinsworth appear on selected nights to give their perspectives on the game.

Goin' Deep (Fox, Sunday, Jan. 24, 9:00 p.m. local time) - will feature host Chris Myers taking viewers beyond the spotlight as the weekly magazine show presents a special report from Miami, a one-on-one interview with a major NFL figure, and other special features.

The Last Word (Fox, weeknights at 6:00 p.m. and midnight ET on FSN regional sports networks) - host Jim Rome will conduct live daily one-on-one interviews with sports stars talking about the Super Bowl and issues in the sports world.

TNT

TNT will air "Friday Night at the Super Bowl" on Friday, Jan. 29 from 10:30-midnight.

Turner Sports' Ernie Johnson Jr., former NFL on TNT game analyst Mark May, New York Jets wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson and San Francisco 49ers safety Tim McDonald will break down each team, identify the key matchups and discuss their favorite John Elway memories.

In addition, the show will review the seven previous Super Bowls that were hosted in Miami, FL, and provide inside looks at Denver's Hall of Fame Fan, "Barrelman," and Falcon defensive back Eugene Robinson.

Turner Sports' main reporter Craig Sager will serve as the Official SBTV Party Crasher, and former Green Bay Packer and 1997 NFL on TNT studio analyst Keith Jackson will report live from the Players Party at Collins Park on Miami Beach.

SportsCenter (ESPN, 6:30 p.m., 11 p.m., 2 a.m.) - will feature live reports from Miami Sunday, Jan. 24 through Monday, Feb. 1.
